Saarah’s story:
Saarah and her mom, Irene, came to me and completed a basic class learning to “Come,” “Sit,” “ Down,” “Stand” and “Stay” in these positions. She also learned simple things all dogs learn like “Leave it,” “Take it,” and “Wait” in a group class setting.
At the end of this class Saarah was then on private lessons where she learned to take care of her Mom. She was taught to assist with mobility, retrieving, closing doors, bringing the phone or medicine and giving the police and health care people the card necessary to get her Mom help. The most unique thing about this dog is that at the end of 2 years she could perform 144 (Last time we counted) services for her Mom and take commands in two languages.
